HALE VA’ASA is proudly sponsored by Body Perceptions Physiotherapy & Lifestyle Centre.

Hale has been working closely with the team here at Body Perceptions since June 2011. Since Hale began with us Linda has a new perspective on the fighting scene and can definately now appreciate the technical elements of the sport, especially MMA (mixed martial arts) . Linda & Felicity had the privilidge of supporting Hale when he travelled to Auckland last year where he won the New Zealand heavy weight title.

As a consequence of Hale’s grueling training regime, he has realised the importance of rehabilitation and recovery. He now has a weekly physiotherapy session along with 1-3 Bodyflow consultations per week. Since doing this he is able to maximise his training and limit the amount of time nursing injuries and muscle soreness.

Hale is now dropping a weight division to fight for another title in March. Hale will be fighting at NITRO 5 at the Logan Entertainment Centre on Saturday 24th of March for a middle weight title.

The team at Body Perceptions will be closely monitoring his training schedule in preparation for the event. His training regime can include training up to 4 times per day 5 days per week with active recovery days in between. His recovery includes, pool sessions, ice baths, bodyflow, massage and plenty of stretching.

From all the team at Body Perceptions we would like to wish Hale all the best for his upcoming fight and look forward to updating you all on his progress.
