Lisa Cairns

Lisa Cairns graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Glasgow University in 2010. Lisa went on to complete a masters of science in physiotherapy focusing on musculoskeletal injuries from the Glasgow Caledonian University in 2013.

Lisa has previously worked for the National Health Service (NHS) from 2011 to 2013 and a private practice called Physioflex from 2012-2013. Lisa moved from Scotland to Australia to work for Body Perceptions Physiotherapy in August 2013.

Lisa has had previous experience working with the Glasgow Rangers Football Club youth academy, the Glasgow Western Womens Hockey team at the European championships in Italy, the Welsh National Hockey team at the Celtic cup and completed work experience shadowing with the National Scottish Rugby Union Team.

Lisa’s passion is Karate, representing Scotland in the national team for the last decade, 2003-2013. Winning a bronze medal at the World Championships as well as winning Commonwealth, European, British, Scottish and various other open titles. Lisa was also part of the Great Britain Karate squad which competed in a number of university championships. Lisa is enjoying training with a number of Australian Karate Team members.
